Policies & Pricing
What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations incur a $70 fee. Cancellations within 48 hours, no-shows, or DMV refusals (unless due to our vehicle) are non-refundable.
How much does it cost to rent a car for a driving test?
Our rate is $249. We bring the vehicle to your DMV test location and include all required DMV insurance coverage.
What is included in the rental price?
The price includes full DMV-required insurance, registration, and a compliant vehicle for your test duration.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards.
What happens if I fail my driving test? Can I re-rent?
Yes. You can re-rent for a retest at our standard rate—just contact us to book again.
International Drivers (Adults 18+)
When do I have to convert my international driver’s license to a California license?
You must obtain a California driver’s license within 10 days of becoming a California resident. See residency and licensing rules: DMV – Driver Licenses (DL).
What documents do I need to convert my international driver’s license?
Bring originals or certified copies of your valid foreign license, proof of identity, proof of California residency, Social Security number (if eligible) or proof of ineligibility, proof of legal presence, and your DL/ID application. Guidance: DMV – Driver Licenses (DL).
Do I need a Social Security number to get a California license?
If you are eligible for a Social Security number, you must provide it. If you are not eligible, bring proof of ineligibility plus your immigration documents. Details: DMV – Driver Licenses (DL).
What are the steps to convert a foreign license to a California license?

Do I need to take a written test? How many attempts do I get?

What happens if I fail the behind-the-wheel driving test?
If you are 18 or older, there is no mandatory waiting period; you may retest as soon as an appointment is available. More info: DMV – The Testing Process.
Do I need a REAL ID, or can I get a standard license?
You may choose either. A REAL ID requires two proofs of California residency and will be needed for U.S. flights and certain federal facilities starting May 7, 2025. Learn more: DMV – REAL ID.
Can I rent a DMV-approved car for my driving test?
