Private Service Disclosure

We are not the DMV

DMVRentalCar.com is a privately operated business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by, or sponsored by the California Department of Motor Vehicles or the State of California. We do not administer driving tests or guarantee test results.

THIS PRODUCT OR SERVICE HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED OR ENDORSED BY ANY GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY, AND THIS OFFER IS NOT BEING MADE BY AN AGENCY OF THE GOVERNMENT.

What we provide

DMV Rental Car is a business name of LL Group LLC. We arrange test-day service for California behind-the-wheel tests. Each booking includes:

• Test-ready automatic-transmission vehicle
• Licensed California driver
• Current vehicle registration
• Proof of insurance
• Brief vehicle orientation
• Vehicle handoff and check-in support

The driver delivers the vehicle, provides a basic vehicle orientation, presents the vehicle documents for review, and supports the vehicle handoff and check-in process. Drivers are not DMV representatives, DMV agents, government employees, examiners, or officials.

The examiner decides

The vehicle comes with current registration, proof of insurance, and working safety equipment for the examiner to review. Final acceptance is determined by the DMV examiner.

We do not control test admission, examination routes, examiner decisions, test results, appointments, permits, or license issuance. We do not claim access to official, exact, or current DMV test routes; routes can change and are controlled by the DMV examiner.

No passing result is guaranteed

Results depend on the customer's driving performance, eligibility, documentation, traffic conditions, examiner decisions, and other circumstances outside our control.

Customer reviews on this site are quoted from public Google reviews. A customer describing their own result is not a promise of the same result for anyone else.

How we use the word "DMV"

We use "DMV" to describe where and what the service is for: a DMV office, a DMV appointment, a DMV test location, a DMV test car, DMV check-in support, and the DMV behind-the-wheel test. None of these uses means the DMV owns, approves, endorses, certifies, or authorizes this business. We do not use the California DMV seal, the California state seal, or any government emblem.

Test + Boost and driving lessons

The Test + Boost warm-up is given by a licensed driving instructor from the partner driving school on the day of your test. It isn't a course of lessons.

If you are not yet ready to drive safely, book lessons with a licensed driving school before scheduling your test.

Who to contact

For bookings, payments, changes, refunds, or anything that happens on your test day, contact DMV Rental Car: info@dmvrentalcar.com or 415-763-1152.
